1. Recent
stories where multiple people in the same occupation have been killed, but no
special protection is offered to them. Comparison is made with what happens
when an abortionist is killed.
2. Scott
Sutterlin, candidate for the Illinois State Senate,
has proposed that women who have an abortion should be fined $500 for having
“irresponsible sex.” He proposed no such penalty for the men who are involved.
3. Obstetrician
Alan Zarkin, who carved his initials in the abdomen
of a woman during delivery, has been prohibited from working at the hospital
where the incident happened. Zarkin did return to
work at the abortion clinic though. He has since been let go from there also.
4. Abortionist
Steven Brigham is serving time for tax evasion. He has expressed a desire to
have his Pennsylvania
medical license reinstated after his release. He has lost his license to
practice medicine in Florida
and New York.
5. In
Ohio,
Denise Mackura of Cleveland Right to Life, inquired
as to why many abortion facilities in Ohio
do not have licenses to be in the state. When the health department checked
into it, 12 of the 19 mills were not licensed. Those clinics were given 10 days
to become compliant with state laws.
6. Baby

Common Ground and the Incremental
Approach to Pro-Life Legislation.
1. Common
Ground – allows pro-aborts to gain moral equivalency.
2. Seamless
Garment – Cardinal Bernadin invention that
neutralizes the abortion issue.
3. Incremental
approach to legislation – In almost 30 years, legal protection has not been
returned to a single baby in America.
It has failed because it left the American people with too many options.

Republican Party – guest Colleen Parro, Director of the Republican National Coalition for
Life
1. Schumer
Amendment – proposed by Charles Schumer, a radical pro-abort Senator from New
York. The purpose is to make it
illegal for a pro-lifer who has a judgment against them to declare bankruptcy.
2. All
but 17 Senators voted for the amendment because the Republicans were afraid
that Al Gore would come in and break a tie. Didn’t want Gore to have that
opportunity.
3. Big
Tent argument is used for abortion but Republican Party excludes others at will
such as David Duke.
4. The
fallacy of thinking that there are no litmus tests for nominations.
5. Bush
and McCain in South Carolina
arguing over exceptions to abortion.
6. Keyes
took the true pro-life position, so he suffered no embarrassment.

4. World
Net Daily releases touching pictures from a fetal surgery.
5. Update
on Pittsburgh
woman from the June 1999 show. Fortunately, she was not killed during her
abortion but she was injured.
6. National
Right to Life is using the baby parts marketing information to raise funds even
though they discredited LDI’s research in the
beginning. Other people, such as Traditional Values Coalition, American Life
League and Dr. Willke, have also used the information
but with LDI’s blessing since they all supported LDI
throughout the process.
7. Polls
are showing that Americans are becoming more pro-life.
8. O’Reiley Factor show on
abortion clinics becoming extinct.
